In Egypt, for example, a Facebook page called "We are all Khaled Said" was created to honor a 28-year-old Egyptian who was allegedly tortured and beaten to death by two policemen. Said's death, according to the Facebook tribute page, "has become the symbol for many Egyptians who dream to see their country free of brutality, torture, and ill treatment." The page has thousands of fans and has been been instrumental in galvanizing Egyptian citizens and leading to the recent uprising there....
